The Iron Horse Resort is conveniently located at the base of Winter Park Resort and is 67 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. The resort is located near the western entrance to the Moffat Tunnel where the first trains traveled under the Continental Divide in 1926. Before the Tunnel was completed, trains came into Grand County over the mountains on the Moffat Road, a railway route which is now an interesting hiking path not far from the resort. It is the only ski-on/ski-out full service condominium resort and conference center in Winter Park. Surrounded by majestic pines and nestled in the Arapaho National Forest, it provides a unique sense of seclusion.

Built in the tradition of hotel style amenities, the resort combines the apres ski scene of a friendly, cozy lobby with the luxury and spaciousness of condominium rooms. Couples, families, and groups come to enjoy the lovely setting and attentive service all year round. The on-site amenities include restaurant and lounge (open seasonally), outdoor heated pool, four outdoor hot tubs, room service, bell service (seasonal), 24-hour front desk, complimentary local transportation, business center, and conference room.
